It is a privilege to introduce Marni as our inclusion coordinator! Marni has a long history with Tamarack Camps, beginning as a Berman counselor in 2002 all the way to her role as the Mid Side social worker for the past four summers. With a background in community mental health, Marni has dedicated her career to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Her professional experiences, along with her personal connections to camp, have strengthened her belief that every child who wants to attend sleepaway camp should have the opportunity to do so — including those with diverse abilities. In her current role, she will be focusing on Tamarack’s special needs programs and ensuring every camper receives the support needed to thrive.
Outside of camp, Marni has been a licensed social worker for 13 years, working in various roles supporting community mental health. Across every setting, she has focused on meeting people where they are and giving them the supportive guidance that helps them grow. As inclusion coordinator, she looks to do the same in her work with campers, participants, families and staff to provide thoughtful and personalized support that helps every camper and participant feel included and empowered.
