Lauren has been bringing the fun to Tamarack since 2022. With a B.A. in English and theatre from Fort Lewis College, she’s used to thinking on her feet — like when she started her first day of work on the very first day of camp in 2022! Before Tamarack, Lauren spent five years as campus director at Lake of the Woods Camp and held various leadership roles in enrichment programs. Originally from Colorado, Lauren loves mountains, hiking and skiing, and enjoys reading and watching hockey. Fun fact: Her cat can do tricks, including shaking paws and high-fiving!
Proudest accomplishment(s): Successfully surprising camp with a new Maccabiah date first session — and not even the gossipiest supervisors knowing ahead of time!
Favorite camp activity: Walking around the lake and visiting the farm for fresh veggies
Favorite camp food: Using the toaster to make cottage cheese and tomato toast
