Helayne brings 37 years of Tamarack experience and passion to her roles across alumni and family engagement, family camping and as a Jewish educator. She has helped grow Tamarack’s family camp program and partnerships with community educators and clergy, while also being a source of comfort for new camper families. A former early childhood teacher at Hillel Day School, Helayne is also a Tamarack alumna who also cites her experience as a former scholarship camper as an inspiration to give back and ensure future generations of campers can benefit from the informative experience she had at Tamarack. When not at camp, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and dog parks and rooting on Detroit teams and MSU with her husband, Geoff, and two golden retrievers.
