Mazel tov to Alyssa (Maiseloff) and Sam Yashinsky who were married on March 27, 2016 at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield. Even though Sam and Alyssa have many mutual friends, very similar upbringings and their moms used to work together at Federation, their paths never really crossed until being officially introduced by Sam’s brother Joey and wife, Jackie. Alyssa and Jackie worked together in 2010 as Senior Side Supervisors (Alyssa was the Ruach Supervisor and Jackie was the Pioneer Supervisor). Knowing how special Tamarack is to Alyssa, Sam recruited Jackie Yashinsky and Carly Kaufman to lure Alyssa to “The Greatest Place on Earth,” where he surprised Alyssa and proposed to her on the dock at the Zaks Amp in front of their friends and families.
Alyssa and Sam want to thank Tamarack Camps for making their engagement and wedding celebrations so memorable and they look forward to making many more memories with Tamarack Camps for many more years to come.
