EXCITING DINING CHANGES AHEAD

Carly Weinstock, Camp Director

At Tamarack, we know that meals are more than just food — they’re moments to connect, recharge and create sweet memories.

Whether it’s traditional favorite foods like Shabbat dinner, a camper banquet or event as important as first-day-camp chicken nuggets with new friends, food plays a huge role in the camp experience. That’s why I’m thrilled to share that we’re bringing a new family-owned food service provider to camp: Tastebuds Food Service!

Starting in just a few weeks, Tastebuds will join us in enhancing the way we eat together as a camp community. With a focus on from-scratch meals and creative new options — while still accommodating special diets — we’re excited about this exciting relationship. This partnership opens the door to vibrant, flavorful food that aligns with our kosher traditions and camp spirit — think Farber Farm-fresh ingredients, thoughtful menus and meals that fuel adventures!

We’ll continue to provide the comfort foods everyone loves, and Tastebuds also brings innovative ideas for healthier choices with enhanced variety. From music lunches to Foxfire hamburgers and evening cookies, I know this change will elevate our collective experience.

We’re grateful to be working with this new team that shares our passion for building community — one meal at a time. As we already look ahead to the summer months, I’m excited to gather around the table with our campers and staff members at the chedar ochel (dining hall), swap stories and enjoy the delicious food that will bring us together.

Look for more information about Tastebuds — and what they’ll add to Tamarack’s tables — coming to your email inbox soon.

Here’s to new flavors, full hearts (and bellies) and “ful-filling” camp memories!
