Tidbits #21

Hello Camp Maas Families,

We have a few great opportunites for campers and their families to spend time together at camp:

Mom and Me Family Camp
Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 3 at Butzel Retreat Center
Moms, along with your children, join us to experience the joy of a rejuvenating Shabbat, surrounded by nature’s beauty and heartfelt connections. Engage in a delightful array of activities tailored for kids aged 5 to 12, from sports to omanut (arts and crafts). As the sun sets, come together for the bright lights of Havdalah, followed by cozy campfires, s’mores and endless laughter under the starlit sky. Apply here for Mom and Me.

Bubbie Zaydie Camp
For grandparents and grandkids–sorry, no parents allowed! Bubbie Zaydie weekends run every Friday-Sunday from June 5 – August 2 at Butzel Retreat Center. Activities include boating, fishing, swimming, omanut (arts and crafts), campfire with s’mores, camp-style shabbat and Havdalah, and more! Applications accepted through March 3 will be included in the lottery for weekend placement. Apply here for Bubbie Zaydie.

Summer Family Camp
Thursday, August 13 – Sunday, August 16 at Butzel Retreat Center
Join us for the return of our popular Summer Family Camp and experience the magic of Tamarack Camps with your loved ones! This all-inclusive weekend offers cozy accommodations, delicious meals, and a full lineup of engaging programs for all ages. Kids will enjoy supervised activities like boating, omanut (arts and crafts), hiking and more, while adults can participate in classic camp experiences (with a grown-up twist). Highlights include a spirited Shabbat celebration with songs, dancing, and kid-friendly services in our outdoor amphitheater. It’s the ultimate family getaway — a chance to unplug and connect with nature, community, and one another. Apply here for Summer Family Camp
