We’re thrilled to announce that the winner of our 125th Anniversary Logo Contest is Griffin Goodman!
A Tamarack alum who spent summers at camp from 2001–2018, Griffin is now a Chicago-based artist whose work has been exhibited around the world and featured in publications including Forbes and New American Paintings. Earlier this year, he was named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list for Art & Style — and we couldn’t be more excited that such a celebrated artist from our Tamarack mishpacha created the logo that will help commemorate this milestone summer.
Griffin’s winning design perfectly captures the nostalgia and ruach (spirit) of Tamarack through a retro-inspired lens. In his own words:
“I created a vintage-inspired patch design that taps into the nostalgic feel of classic camp gear, pulling from that old school tradition of collecting and wearing patches. The piece incorporates the Tamarack tree logo, the original Hebrew lettering and the iconic green bus, all reimagined through a cohesive, retro lens.”
As soon as we saw it, we knew the design felt unmistakably Tamarack — honoring 125 summers of tradition while still feeling fresh and creative.
Thank you, Griffin, for sharing your talent with the Tamarack community as we celebrate 125 summers!
