As the temperatures cool and the leaves begin to change, our beloved home takes on a different feel — one that is especially beautiful from the camp roads and trails.
This fall, we’re inviting you to experience Camp Maas on foot as part of Fall Fest on Sunday, October 11, as we welcome a new format for the Tamarack Trot.
Instead of a traditional timed 5K, the Trot will be a self-guided walk or run through camp, taking place during Fall Fest, from noon–3 p.m. There’s no clock to beat and no finish time to chase. Walk with your family, run with a friend or simply take your time exploring the scenery along the way.
The route, which loops around Lake Radin, will give you a chance to see Camp Maas from a different perspective, with fall colors, familiar places and new angles. Whether you’re looking to get some miles in or simply want to spend time outside together, the Trot is designed to be enjoyed however you choose.
And because the Trot is part of Fall Fest, there’s plenty more to experience once you’re back from your walk or run. Climb the rock wall, get creative with crafts, make a fall treat, take a hayride, and join us for a kosher lunch. Guided camp tours will also be available for families who want to learn more about summer at “The Greatest Place on Earth!”
