We’re so incredibly proud of our Change Maker, Jacob Strausz! Tamarack is a family tradition for Jacob, who lives in Texas. He has been a camper since 2023 and enjoys spending time at camp with his Michigan cousins, making new friends and trying new things every summer.
For his mitzvah project, Jacob wanted to give back to the place he loves through CAMPaign for Change. Inspired by his own experiences during rainy days at camp, he asked people to donate board games for each village lodge to provide a little extra fun when the weather isn’t cooperating or during schmooze.
The response has been fantastic! Jacob’s goal is to collect 125 games in celebration of 125 summers of camp, and he has made tremendous progress.
