SK2T 2026: Honoring Harriet and Gregg Orley!

As we enter Thanksgiving — a time centered on gratitude for our blessings, pride in our community, and the joy of gathering around the table — we are reminded of the many ways Tamarack Camps brings people together with that same ruach.

Just as we huddle around the campfire to share in tradition, our camp community unites each year for a purpose that reflects our highest values: ensuring every child has an opportunity to enjoy Tamarack’s Jewish camping experience. As we look ahead to our Send a Kid to Tamarack signature event — where the power of community, philanthropy, and shared commitment shines brightest — we are proud to announce our 2026 Send a Kid to Tamarack Community Leader Honorees, Harriet and Gregg Orley!

Harriet, a Tamarack alumna and former scholarship recipient, continues to feel that the years at camp remain some of her most meaningful touchstones. Gregg is a passionate proponent of Jewish life — and, this summer, from the front row, has especially enjoyed the positive glow of a Tamarack Shabbat. Together, they are quiet philanthropists, yet their resounding impact speaks volumes! Their project at Camp Maas, The HuG, embodies a Jewish home where all participants feel embraced, included and connected.

With these inspirational honorees, our annual campaign and signature event are poised for another successful year! In the coming months, we look forward to highlighting their significant engagement and wide-reaching impact while, together, we help send kids to Tamarack!

Please save the date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
