As we reflect on our 121st summer, I can’t help but look back in awe of our amazing staff, who made camp and so many special moments possible. This summer, 350 staff came together from 17 different countries – many of whom were meeting each other for the first time. I had a front-row seat to see them gel as peers, grow as leaders, and provide our campers with one unforgettable experience after another.
There is so much hard work and dedication that goes into a Tamarack summer. From intensive pre-camp training, long and exhausting days, followed by late-night planning sessions, and so much more. I want to thank our Senior Leadership, Rick Barinbaum, Craig Charnas, Laura Charnas, Becca Fishman, Matt Russell, Lainie Sacks, Rabbi Ben Shalva, Helyane Shaw, Hallie Steckler, Danielle Tagai, Lauren Vidak, Jacquelyn Bell, Marni Alekman, Sara Weinfeld, Brooke Lieberman, Calum Darroch, Vicki Russell, Ethan Frank, Zack Goldman, and our Medical Care Team, led by Dr. Stefanie Aronow, Gail Chynoweth, and Jen Feinberg. Each of you and the teams you led brought passion, love, energy, and expertise every day and made the summer so successful.
We take a tremendous amount of pride in the fact that each year our families entrust us with their children. Whether you’re a year-round professional, part of our summer team, or spend a day with us as an Artist-in-Residence, Tamarack Camps has the best staff in the industry, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.
