The Four Questions of Send a Kid to Tamarack

By: Rachel Fine

Why should I attend Send a Kid to Tamarack (SK2T)? Tamarack Camps is a magical place that changes lives every summer. For some families, sending one or more camper is not financially possible. Every person who gives to Tamarack Camps is helping families afford summer camp. Thirty percent of campers are awarded scholarship toward tuition and every single camper is subsidized by $80 per day. Join us for SK2T to be a part of the magic!

What should I expect at SK2T? SK2T will kick off with our first-ever Silent Auction and small plates at 6:30 pm. We have over 40 items up for bid! At 7:30 pm, we will take our seats for the program featuring a comedy show headlined by Tamarack Camps alumnus, Nate Fridson. The formal program will conclude at around 8:30 pm, with one of our favorite camp pastimes, s’mores and schmoozing.

What should I wear to SK2T? The suggested attire for the event is snappy casual. Snappy casual attire is considered informal, yet stylish. Wear what you feel best in!

Will there be food at SK2T? Absolutely! We will be serving mini hot dogs, latkes, sliders and kabobs during the Silent Auction. After the featured program there will be s’mores, cookies and brownies. Come thirsty too, we will have assorted drinks, including wine. Everything will be kosher (not kosher for Passover!)

We can’t wait to see you at the event. Don’t miss your last chance to reserve your seat today!
