Hello Tamarack Families,
We are excited to announce a new program – Try Tamarack! This free event is a great opportunity for rising first graders to try out Tamarack Camps for a day on July 28th. Ride the Green Bus, spend the day with counselors, eat in the chedar ochel (dining hall), and try activities including water fun. Kosher lunch and snacks will be provided. What to bring/wear will be provided to registered campers. Interested families can register here.

Is your child ready for camp? Some skills that seem less important at home become much more important at camp. One good skill to practice now is sending letters – addressing envelopes, using stamps correctly, and letter writing. You’d be surprised at how many teenagers don’t know how to do this! Practice sending letters to grandparents, friends, etc. Who doesn’t love old-fashioned snail mail?
