TLV Announcement (for rising 12th graders — current 11th graders — only)
In light of the ongoing situation in Israel, we’ve made a mindful decision to pivot from our Sue & Alan Kaufman & Family Teen Mission to Israel for summer 2025. While we deeply value our connections to Israel and the opportunity to explore our homeland, health and safety remain our top priorities.
With that in mind, we have partnered with BBYO Passport to offer a meaningful alternative: an immersive trip to Costa Rica! This program will combine TLV’s leadership development focus with unique opportunities for adventure, cultural exploration and local Judaism.
Alternatively, for participants who do not wish to attend the Costa Rica portion of the program, we will offer a full summer TLV program at Camp Maas.
In summation, your options for the summer are as follows:
TLV — COSTA RICA ADVENTURE AND CAMP MAAS
Date: June 17–August 8
Costa Rica trip: June 23–July 9
Session break: July 11–14
Cost: $5,695 (after $3,000 RootOne voucher, $8,695 if participant does not complete requirements)
TLV — FULL SUMMER AT CAMP MAAS
Date: June 17–August 8
Includes Tamarack trip TBD
Session break: July 11–14
Cost: $3,000

It’s the perfect chance to get together with old friends, hang out with your favorite counselors and relive those unforgettable summer moments. Plus, we’ll have snacks to keep you fueled, and the concessions stand will be open if you want to purchase more. New campers, cousins, siblings, etc. are welcome to join us too!
