Supporting camp, one item at a time

Brooke Leiberman, Head of Omanut

Your donation of any of these items, whether new or gently used, would be a wonderful act of tzedakah. By sharing these resources, you help us honor the value of Bal Tashchit (preventing waste) by giving materials a second life. Your support ensures our campers have a vibrant, creative summer while we work together to care for our planet.

There are so many ways to support Tamarack Camps — and not all of them involve making a financial gift. Sometimes, it’s as simple as passing something along.

As generations of camp parents know, gear has a way of piling up—and kids have a way of outgrowing it just as quickly. That’s what makes Gear Share such a meaningful part of our Tamarack community.

Started by alumna Mikki Rubin, Gear Share connects families through a simple idea: gently used items that still have plenty of life left—sleeping bags, rain gear, hiking boots, and more—can make a difference for another camper. Housed in Mikki’s basement, Gear Share brings that sharing to life.
