As the summer winds down, there’s something special about one last getaway — a chance to slow down and enjoy time together before the busyness of fall begins.
That’s exactly what Summer Family Camp is all about.
We’re excited to once again offer this much-loved experience at Butzel Retreat Center, as we close out Tamarack’s 125th summer in true camp style.
Think of it as an stress-free family vacation — where we take care of everything. Cozy accommodations, delicious meals, and, of course, a full weekend of programming designed for all ages, which means families can simply show up and enjoy being together.
Kids will spend their days immersed in classic camp fun with supervision — boating, omanut (arts and crafts), hiking and more — while adults can enjoy familiar Tamarack experiences with a grown-up twist.
And at the heart of it all is Shabbat, a joyful celebration filled with music, singing, dancing and kid-friendly services in our outdoor amphitheater.
Summer Family Camp is more than a weekend away — it’s a chance to unplug from everyday routines and reconnect with nature, community and one another.
As we mark the end of Tamarack’s 125th summer, we can’t imagine a better way to close the season than by gathering families together for one more shared camp experience.
