Sending Kids To Camp

By: Mike Cooper, President

We are excited that spring has sprung because we are now within closer range of this summer! This month, the program team has been working hard on so many upcoming exciting events, including Taste of Tamarack, which is at the beginning of May (see below for additional details). On this day, our agency will welcome over 100 new campers and their families! As a community camp, relatively close in distance to many of our families, we are fortunate that we can provide a day to enjoy our campgrounds prior to “opening day” (giving extra comfort to the action that lies ahead). Along those lines, so many of our community’s children (whether first timers or seasoned veterans) benefit from a camping experience because of generous people like you. We appreciate the vast support for Send a Kid to Tamarack, which raises critical dollars for financial assistance – and, since 1902, so many have benefited from our mission! As another reminder, please join us at SK2T on May 17, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, where we slow down our fast pace to acknowledge the excellent work of accomplishing our mission for over 120 years – and for our future generation of campers and upcoming leaders!
