Earlier this month, we felt the love of our community at Fall Fest. More than 370 campers and future campers, parents, and agency partners warmed our campgrounds with a love of camp and in solidarity for our Israeli mishpacha (family). We felt your strength and the energy of children playing and community embracing.
With your support, we collectively raised approximately $7,000 (and counting!) to support the Jewish Federation of Detroit’s Israel Emergency campaign. If you would still like to contribute, it’s not too late.
In addition to the dollars you raised, we sent to our community in Israel beautifully handwritten cards, including the supportive messages from previous weeks. We will continue to stand with our Israeli brothers and sisters and are so proud of and grateful for your continued unity.
A special thank you to our volunteers and partner agencies who made this event even more special: BBYO, Citizen Yoga, Frankel Jewish Academy, Hillel Day School, JCC Day Camps, JCC Maccabi Games, Jewish Federation of Detroit, JFamily, O.A.T.S., Repair the World, Star Trax Events, and Yad Ezra.
