7 – 8:30 pm
While camp provides so much fun and opportunity for all kids, we know children (and parents) may feel anxious about changes and new experiences. Anxiety has become a more prominent aspect of our lives in recent years for so many of us. This talk will give you the opportunity to expand your toolbox and gain valuable information and perspectives that can help you and your child thrive.
At 7 pm, we will have a presentation about packing for camp, and at 7:30 pm, our workshop will feature a child psychologist and several experienced social workers who have worked in schools, within and outside of summer camp. They will provide valuable insights and tools to help parents support their children in building resilience and managing anxiety. We aim to equip you with practical strategies to navigate anxiety and help your child thrive during this exciting time.
We hope to see you there!
